Let’s Bring Big Johnny Home

Upon leaving Greece to come to Canada on February 5th our father had low oxygen on his flight home. He had a layover stop in France and needed to be admitted to an emergency department. Our father has been in the hospital for a few weeks with the flu and pneumonia. He also has a blood clot in his lungs along with bacteria in them. As doctors are doing everything they can my dad has been under induced sedation and intubated to help him breath. With fevers, antibiotics and sedation medication our dad is very groggy. His daughters have been taking time off of their jobs to go visit our father In France. Our father is a sibling of 8 kids in his family and has his own family in Canada with his wife Irene.. five children and 4 grandkids. Since retiring our dad has been going to Greece to visit his 94 year old mother each year. After spending quality time with his mom he knew it would be his last as he was diagnosed with COPD. Flying is not easy! With having him use oxygen on a regular basis to upkeep his oxygen levels he’s never let that bring him down! We want our dad home with his family and the only way we can do so is a medical flight. These medical expenses are taking a huge toll on our family. We would be ever so grateful to all of you if you could help in anyway.
