Bring our Art to Burning Man

Hello beautiful human,

We are the Mechanical Menagerie team and we are raising funds to bring our zoetropes to Burning Man this August. We will be taking the idea of a zoetrope from concept to 7 working zoeptropes in just a few months, a large undertaking requiring countless hours of dedicated hard work to realize our dream. Zoetropes are a 19th century animation machine with pictures on the inner side of the carousel with small slits on the side to view the animated scene.

All of the art found within these spinning worlds is being created by the talented Esmeralda Nadeau-Jasso from the Slocan Valley in BC. She has brought many Art projects to Burning Man and brings a beautiful dedication to her work and creations. Creating with her is our methodical mechanical designer Caleb Hull from Nelson BC, who has been working with Esmeralda for years to bring beautiful pieces to Burning Man. Behind these two is an eager group of creators and builders ready to do what needs to be done to get us to Black Rock City.

We haveva dedicated team of beautiful people with big dreams and high hopes. Help us to bring our beautiful creations to Burning Man. Your contributions will help to purchase materials for building the project, constructing hexayurt structures to protect us from the elements, a generator for backup energy and costs associated with our travel down to Black Rock City.
