Bring Nelly's Emotional Support Cat Home

Hi, my name is Nelly. I’m an immigrant wife of an American soldier, and I’m reaching out for help with something that’s been tearing me apart every day.

Due to a long and painful series of complications with my husband’s military command, we were separated from our beloved cat during our PCS move from Korea to the United States. We were misled, delayed, and ultimately given wrong information that led to a heartbreaking moment at the airport: we learned, too late, that our cat was approved to fly—but we had already left her behind.

My cat has been with me since she was a kitten. She’s my emotional support, my companion, and a huge part of our family. I did everything I could to bring her, but one 45-minute rule (yes, the flight was 12h 45m) and a system error kept us apart. She's currently being cared for by my elderly father in Korea, but he has memory issues and it's becoming a risk to her safety and my dad's health.

We’re now in the U.S., trying to rebuild, and I’m begging for help to bring her home. Transporting her alone is expensive, and we’re already stretched thin as a military family starting from scratch. I’ve tried every route I could think of. This GoFundMe is my last hope.
