Bring Nacho Home

My father, my Apá, as I love to call him, was a man beyond measure. If you could begin to measure a man by the amount of people whose lives he positively impacted, then my Apá would be richer than the world’s most richest billionaire. Son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, father, grandfather, best friend, fighter, warrior--he was and always will be all those things.

My Apá was visiting family in Texas on August 25, 2018, doing the things he loved--LIVING life to the fullest-- when he suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. He fought bravely over the last two weeks, with his family by his side, to beat the odds stacked against him. Today, nuestro rey, has told us he is ready to leave us on earth, and watch over us with his father and other loved ones.

Although my Apá was prepared by having insurance and a funeral plan, no one could have foreseen this would happen 800 miles away from home. It will cost thousands of dollars to get him back to California, and there have been other unforeseen costs. We appreciate positive comments below, sharing #bringnachohome on social media, and donating what you can to help bring him back to the final resting place he chose. In his beloved California where he spent most of his life.
