Bring my family home to America
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yelyzaveta Burlutska and at four years old my mother and I were blessed with the opportunity to come to the United States for a better life. Ukraine is an amazing and beautiful country that has been ravaged by war. Due to the escalating violence in our hometown of Kharkiv, my family was forced to evacuate to Germany and are making their way to the United States. The journey to the United States will be a large financial cost including airfare, visa application fees, and food along the way. In order to help meet the financial needs of our family, we have set up this fundraiser. I have included a breakdown of what the donations would go toward and information about my family members.
Plane tickets: ~$1000.00 x7 family members = $7000.00
Visa Application Fee: $160 x7 family members = $1,120.00
Miscellaneous cost: $1,880 (hotel cost, travel fees, food)
Family Members
Sveta: Sveta is my mother's youngest sister and is an amazing woman who gives selflessly to others. While in Ukraine she was a teacher in the local elementary school. She is arriving in America with her two sons Kereal and Miraslov. Due to the draft, her husband Deniese had to stay in Ukraine to fight for our country.
Oksana: Oksana is my mother's older sister and is the bravest and most hard-working woman I know. She is arriving in Ukraine with three of her children (Ella, Bagdan, Liducia). Due to the draft, her husband (Gena) and oldest son (Dema) had to stay in Ukraine to fight for our country. Her oldest daughter Ella was a nurse in Ukraine who cared for her patients with all of her heart. Bagdan was studying to be a train engineer for the national rail system. Little Liducia is just starting school and loves art.
