Hi, I’m Dree. The kitty in the photo is my baby boy Mouse. He is 6 years old and unfortunately, for the second time this year, he has eaten a foreign body and needs to have it surgically removed. It definitely wasn’t string this time, as we hid all the string/threw it away after last time, but they don’t know what it was as he’s still mid-surgery and I haven’t received an update yet.

I’m going to be honest, I can’t afford this surgery. I told them to go ahead and do it, but I am borrowing money from friends and family that I have to pay back in order to pay for it, and I am still $1000 short.

If I can raise even part of the leftover amount by tonight or tomorrow, I will be able to bring my boy home. If not, well, I honestly don’t know what happens when you don’t pay a vet for services rendered.

If this were any other cat, I would not be doing this, but Mouse is my baby. I raised him from 3 weeks old. He lays on my chest and purrs when he knows I’m stressed. I can’t imagine life without him and I have to bring him home.
