Hello, my name is Josh hill and I am a veteran. I received brain surgery for a cyst that formed while serving my country. The surgery, and the efforts of the VA so far, have saved my life. But my road to recovery has been very long, and hard.
At 32 years old I struggle to pay for the vital out of network treatment that my insurance, or the VA cannot pay for. The groundbreaking therapy of my new neurologist has been life-changing. Before I began seeing him, a few months ago, I spent nearly 80% of my waking hours in bed, and struggled to keep down even half of the daily required calories I needed to survive.
Today, I have a real shot at living a normal life and learning to live with my neurological conditions. I have started this page to help me keep my home as these cutting-edge treatments are not covered by my healthcare providers. I have given a lot of myself in service to this country. And it pains me to have to ask for even more help than what I already receive. But, as you can understand I don't have a choice but to ask for more help from my community. All donations will go towards continuing treatments and medical debt.
Anything you can do to help out to bring me home (to feel normal) would be greatly appreciated. God bless.
