Justice for Maggie Borrero

First and foremost we would like to thank everyone for your kind hearts and the support you have shown us during this difficult time. It is with a heavy heart that we report Maggie has been located and unfortunately it is not the news we were hoping for. It is with profound sadness that we announce that Maggie Borrero has passed away.

What's even more unsettling is the Lincoln police department's inability to help us find answers surrounding her disappearance and the recovery of the body. Every time the grieving family would ask simple preliminary questions regarding the case, they would respond with "We can not respond to that in order not to compromise the integrity of the investigation", yet the community at large knew answers to the questions that the grieving family could not receive. For example, when Maggie's body was found, the community was informed before the family. 

Could you imagine hearing that your sister was found through the town's people before law enforcement made you aware? With that said, we will now be calling this "The Justice For Maggie Memorial Fund". 

The family believes and there is strong evidence that suggests foul play was involved that led to the demise of Maggie's life.  The grief-stricken family is left with many questions and a huge void having had little to no answers from the police but they are determined to get answers. Since day one, local authorities have placed little to no importance on Maggie's case.

Maggie's family will be organizing their own investigation to get answers for what happened to their beloved Maggie. The family is determined to get to the bottom of the truth. With your help, they believe justice will be done.

The funds collected will be used towards covering expenses of the search, funeral costs, relocating Maggie's body from New Hampshire to NYC where her family can give her a proper burial and lay her to rest, as well as completing an investigation into the foul play and demise of our dear sister. At this point, we have no answers, no help, and no assistance from the local community. We will not back down. All we want is justice and peace of mind. In addition to the allocations listed above, funds will be used toward legal representation and hiring outside assistance for this ongoing investigation.

We are saddened and distraught over the unexpected loss of our loved one. Please continue to pray for our family. It is because of people like you that we believe justice will be done. The woman you see above is Maggie, Maggie Borrero. She is someone's Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Friend. 

Maggie was last seen on Sat March 6, 2021 in Lincoln New Hampshire. She is 33 years old, 5'5 with Brown Eyes and Brown Hair, weighing 110lbs.

Since the very minute, Maggie has gone missing our lives have not been the same. Words can't begin to even express the magnitude of how devasting this situation is. With that said, we are doing anything and everything to get her home.

We are not going to give up and have put our lives on hold as a family to search for her. We are starting this GoFundMe because we came from New York City to New Hampshire to find our dear Maggie and get some answers. The proceeds are being used for:

- Raising Awareness (flyers, billboards,  etc)
- To feed the volunteer search and rescue crews
- Assisting with legal fees 
- Hiring outside professional assistance to help with the case
- To help buy materials for the search 
- A reward for anyone that can help solve this case
- To help with lodging and food for the NY search team 

We literally have over 10 people in her immediate family that came to NH and are putting their boots on the ground to look for her.  They are in a hotel, not going to work, they are not sleeping, they just up and came to NH to assist in the search for Maggie. Currently, we are in dire need of resources as this is a very time-sensitive matter.

There are no words that I can write to accurately convey the pain and fear we experience each morning when we get up.  We are going to do EVERYTHING we possibly can to bring her home. Imagine if it was your Sister? Your Mom? Your Daughter? Aunt? Best Friend? Maggie is all these things and more. 

Her loved ones deserve answers. We want nothing more than her back home with us. Even if you are unable to make a contribution (of any amount) then please find it in your heart to share this on all social media platforms. Time is of the essence and the more people who see her face and hear her story, the better.

**When and if she is found, any of the resources that have not been exhausted will be donated to another active missing person's case.
