This year we spent six months in Kajiado, Kenya filming a documentary about an inspirational woman named Lucy Itore who rescues Maasai girls from female genital mutilation (FGM) and early forced marriage. We have worked closely with Lucy to found a Kenyan non-profit organization Maasai Sisters. The organization rescues, rehabilitates, and empowers Maasai girls.
In late November, we are hosting a West Coast screening tour with a short version of the film to raise funds for Maasai Sisters. It is our goal to bring Lucy, the founder and director of the organization, to the United States to attend the screenings and participate in Q&A sessions.
We need to raise $2,500 to cover Lucy’s travel expenses.
By contributing to this campaign, you can help Lucy advocate directly for the hundreds of girls she serves.

We would greatly appreciate your support in bringing Lucy to the US!
