Bring Katherine Home

I share this sad news of the passing of a bright beautiful star whom we all knew as Katherine Maya. She sadly passed in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 1st, 2021.

Katherine was a beautiful soul that brought nothing but sunshine and rainbows to the people who were blessed to have been in her life. Katherine was anything and everything she wanted to be, and what we aspire to be. She had no shame when she would burst into song whenever the urge hit her, which was basically all the time, or when she would randomly start to dance without any music playing! Katherine was full of life, and she lived hers every day as if it were her last! She loved so many things; reading, traveling, hiking, theater, Disney, Whinnie the Pooh, her friends, and her family. Katherine was the life of the party, the person you turn to, a shoulder to cry on, relied on to give great advice, and she could always make you laugh and smile! She will be deeply missed by many, but she will never be forgotten! Remember to hold her in your heart, because she will always be there.

At this time, Katherine's family is suffering a great loss. The Maya family wishes anyone who would like to reach out do so by leaving a comment here or by sending a letter. The family will reach out to everyone who donates, comments, or sends a letter once they have mourned their loss. For now, we ask that you donate what you can or what you wish to the family to help cover all the expenses needed. This will include viewings, memorials, travel, meals, and any expenses for bringing Katherine from California back home to Pennsylvania. We know we are asking a lot, but with everything happening so fast, we are looking to reach 2/3 of our goal by September 9th, and our full target goal by September 20th. The family appreciates everyone's contributions and donations. They know they are not the only ones who are sad due to this unfortunate event. Thank you all, God bless, we love you, and be well!
