Bring Joe Negrete home to rest
East High Scarlet, restaurant entrepreneur, funky bass player + spark for the Joe Negrete Experience band, king of the softball field, and founder of “Joe Ball.”
Joe wore lots of hats, but we’re sure his favorite was being dad to Maria. The dynamic father-daughter duo bravely battled COVID-19 the last few weeks, and Joe fought hard until the last round on April 8.
Given this unexpected loss, his family humbly asks for help. No donation is too small. Every gift will help us get Joe from Vegas to Des Moines and give him the sendoff he deserves.
Money raised above the cost of transportation, services, and celebration of life will go toward a softball scholarship fund in Joe’s name, directed by his daughter. The account is organized/administered by Rick (Joe's nephew) and Cathy Medina.
