Bring JD, Bucky, Molly Home

Donation protected
As many followers and supporters of the farm know, Home At Last Farm is an animal rescue located in New Hampshire that is in the process of becoming a nonprofit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. I have been working with legal and tax consultants and am sad to say this process is very long (and expensive) and won't be complete for a couple of months, but the problem is we need to raise money now! I (And the 3 Aggie horses) cannot wait.

So while we wait for the nonprofit federal and state paperwork to be complete, I've decided to make a personal Go Fund Me with the exclusive purpose of getting JD, Bucky, and Molly home to their forever home. These horses have touched the lives of so many, and I am so excited to be able to offer them a loving home for the rest of their days and I am really truly honored to be able to give back to them a fraction of what they've given to so many kids over the years. So many of you have encouraged me to not only start a go fund me page, but to do even more and to follow my dreams of establishing a nonprofit organization with a mission to save the lives of many horses and other farm animals. I couldn't do this without all of you. WE are doing it!!!!

So what needs to be done right now??

We need to put up fencing which includes digging fence post holes, purchasing and installing pressure treated posts, and setting up solar powered electric fencing.

We also need to pay to have a 10 x 30 foot section of the field leveled, then buy and set up a run in shed for them to live in and that will mimic their current living situation which they enjoy.

We then need to have frost free water hydrants installed so the horses have access to fresh water daily.

Lastly, we need to raise funds to help offset the cost of feed and medications for at least one month.

So what do all these costs look like?

Shed including delivery and set up- $3,800
Fencing costs including material and post hole digging- $1,200
Frost Free Hydrants installation and materials- $3,800
JD monthly cost (including hay, shavings, grain, medication, hoof trimming)- $500
Molly monthly cost (including hay, shavings, grain, hoof trimming)- $400
Bucky monthly cost (including hay, shavings, grain, hoof trimming)- $400

Not included is the time and labor (donated by yours truly and my loved ones) and the money spent on farm help.

Please consider making a donation to this first initial fundraiser. The moment we receive tax exempt status and are officially a 501(c)(3), we will make an announcement so that donors can make donations that they can write off.  At this time, we will also launch all of our programs on our website and will be able to fully execute on the rescue's mission and programs to help save so many lives from slaughter.

Please feel free to follow us on facebook to learn more about the rescue and for updates on everything www.facebook.com/homeatlastfarmrescue we are also on instagram at www.instagram.com/homeatlastfarm and our website of course www.homeatlastfarm.org ! Thank you all for your support, words of encouragement, and for coming together as a community to make this happen. We appreciate it. Especially these 3 babies!!
