Bring Iain Reid Home

I am Andrew Reid,I am trying to raise funds £6980 to allow my brother Iain Reid to be transported by Medical Ambulance back to  Glasgow,UK to spend his final days with his family at his side.

Iain is 58 years old & was diagnoised with colon cancer in Feb 2015 .He was living in Austria having left the NAAFI a year earlier in Germany,Iain also served in the Army Royal Artillery in 1976-1980.

Iain's cancer has spread throughout his body including his bones and brain and has been told by Austrian hospital that he is not entitled to any more cancer treatment in Austria as he is not an Austrian national and needs to return to UK,however he was only told this AFTER his cancer spread and is now terminal he is currently receiving palliative care in a hospital in Salzburg. Iain is unable to fly home on a commercial airline and medical transportation is his only option.

We do not know how long Iain has to live but his wishes are to spend his final days at home with his family around him.
Time is critical in this cause and unfortunately neither Iain nor our family has the finances to bring him home and we have recieved NO financial aid from either UK or Scottish Governments to bring an ex serviceman home to his family to spend his final days.
Myself and my family would be extremly grateful for any donations made in our attempts to get our brother Iain Reid home to us.
