<div>Dear Friends: My name is Alfred Apps. This holiday season, while many of us are gathering in the warmth of our homes, my dear friend Darryl and his 12-year-old son, Noah, are navigating a difficult "winter" of their own.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know that Christmas is a season of light, but for Darryl, this past year has been a grueling journey through transition. To ensure Noah’s safety and stability, Darryl made the incredibly difficult choice to walk away from his home and his financial equity. Since then, he has been a devoted sole provider and full-time father, putting Noah’s well-being above all else.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Darryl has spent over 20 years serving our community—working in counseling, education, and employment services. He is the person who usually provides the "Christmas miracle" for others. However, the weight of a high-stress caseload and the trauma of a major life upheaval have led to a period of burnout. He is currently on medical leave, focusing on recovery so he can be the sustainable, healthy father Noah deserves.

<div>The Gift of Stability
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This Christmas, Darryl is facing the daunting task of rebuilding from scratch. I am reaching out to ask for your help to clear the path for their "New Year." Your donations will act as a gift of security, helping to cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Keeping the Lights On</strong>: Assistance with basic living expenses and housing stability.
</li>
<li><strong>Safety &amp; Mobility</strong>: Transportation and mobility-related costs.
</li>
<li><strong>A Fresh Start</strong>: Legal and administrative fees left over from his separation.
</li>
<li><strong>Noah’s Needs</strong>: Ensuring his 12-year-old son has everything he needs for school and daily life.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Darryl is not someone who asks for help easily. He is used to being the helper, not the one in need. But even the strongest trees need support during a storm.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please join me in adding Darryl and Noah to your Christmas gift list. No gift is too small. Whether it’s the cost of a festive latte or a larger contribution, every dollar acts as a beacon of hope for this father and son. If you aren't able to give financially, please consider sharing this link with your network—that is a gift in itself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s come together to show Darryl and Noah that they aren't alone this December. Thank you for helping us bring a little more peace and joy to their home this Christmas.
