Bring Hassan Home

Hassan and Minette met in 2009 in through family members.  Hassan's older brother is married to Minette's cousin.  From the start, Minette's mum always knew Hassan would be her husband, but Minette never entertained nor gave him the time of day.  But, he was always polite, respectful and always offering acts of services in various kinds of ways - especially with Minette and her family's nonprofit in Sierra Leone. Hassan always tried to maintain communication with Minette, but she was not having it (yet again). But Minette always noticed his caring demeanor and that he was a man of God.

Fast forward to a few years later, and Minette's path crossed with Hassan's yet again. In October 2015 - he asked her if she was done running away because he's waited for her and was ready to make her his wife.  In December of 2016, Minette and Hassan tied the knot in Sierra Leone.  Unfortunately due to work and other commitments, one week after their wedding, Minette had to come back to the States. 
Minette came back and began preparing his paperwork .. in June of 2017, Minette found out that her paperwork was "lost" and there was no record of it.  Frustrated Minette began seeking other options for her husband and considered moving out of the country.  In 2018, she decided to try one more time and had to start over again from the beginning. Though she's made progress and getting to the end of the road, it's been a lot financially and Minette had to take a second job to help with fees.  In addition to working two jobs, Minette was diagnosed with a serious medical condition, making working so many hours very difficult. 

Money raised will go directly to the immigration fees to help bring Hassan home to his wife.
