I’m raising funds for my father, Elizeu Barbosa Olguins, who was detained by ICE and is currently in custody.

My father, Elizeu, has always been a hardworking, honest, kind-hearted man who is deeply devoted to his family. Throughout his life, he has worked hard to build a better future, always trying to do good, help the people around him, and take care of those he loves.

Unfortunately, our family is currently going through one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Since my father was detained by immigration authorities, we have been facing an emotionally devastating situation along with significant ongoing expenses related to attorneys, legal representation, immigration proceedings, documentation, and everything involved in trying to bring him back home to his family. Everybody who knows him is very frustrated and afraid of what is going to happen to him while he remains in custody, and this is especially urgent because he is still in ICE custody and we are trying to get him out as soon as possible.

He is a father, a friend, a hardworking man, and someone who has always tried to live with dignity, support his family, and be there for the people around him. We created this fundraiser to help cover the legal and immigration-related expenses that continue to arise throughout this process, including lawyer fees, immigration expenses, and bond. Support right now can help with the immediate costs needed as we try to get Elizeu out as soon as possible and give him the proper legal support and representation he needs.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference for our family. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would also mean more to us than you know. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donates, shares this fundraiser, sends a message of support, keeps our family in their prayers, or simply stands by us during this incredibly difficult time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping our family and supporting us as we fight to bring our dad home.
