But as I got older, a lack of funding, networks, and safe creative spaces made it difficult to continue exploring that passion through my teenage and young adult years. Now, as a mother to a young artist, I’ve realised that not much has changed. Thus the idea for ARTscape was born.

The vision is to offer family art sessions, homeschool and after school creative spaces, art classes for all ages, and a range of social and community clubs. The ideas continue to grow every day as the community responds to the need for a space like this.
