Support for the burial of Alex Palencia

This fundraiser was started for our father, Alex Palencia. He was an avid cyclist who was killed at the Rickenbacker causeway in Miami while enjoying a bike ride. He was training for an upcoming race. My brother and I were born in Little Rock, AR where we lived with our father until 2 years ago when he moved to Miami. We missed him but we stayed in close contact. He made plans to come visit us for Christmas. Now he is gone, taken from us in such a tragic manner that makes the pain of his departure even greater. We are rising funds for our father's funeral. My brother and I are his next of kins. He is 16 years old and has autism. I am 19 years old and in college. Our mother has been our greatest support during this horrific experience. We plan to use the funds help pay for the funeral cost. If there are any funds left we are planning in using it towards college and help with my brother's therapies. We are very thankful to everyone who has offered their support not only financial but emotional. Thank you from all us.
