Bring Charlie Zxi home!

Imagine a world without the unique voice of singer-songwriter Charlie Zxi....

Since she was evicted from the refuge she had called her home for over 12 years, Charlie's fans haven't had to imagine. Without a safe place to live or reliable internet, Charlie has had to give up hosting her twice-weekly online Karaoke Shows and rarely has the (internet or emotional) bandwidth to join a show to sing.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Charlie, like many people across the world, struggled to find work and ultimately fell behind on mortgage payments, which eventually snowballed into what she believes was an illegal foreclosure on her house. Charlie is currently living in an unregistered trailer while she raises funds for her legal battle and secure housing. Through it all, and with a smile on her face, Charlie continues to donate her time to the online karaoke community's nonprofit Good Karma Karaoke (GKK), most recently performing in GKK's Karao-Concert for Harmony in the USA in advance of Election Day 2024.

While Charlie is reluctant to ever ask for help from others, the other members of Good Karma Karaoke have decided to use our platform and public relations resources to help Charlie finance the prolonged legal battle she faces and to secure safe housing in the interim.

Charlie has been a key "night minister" for our incredibly diverse online karaoke community, providing the healing power of music for countless people who have joined her show late at night. Now it is our turn to step up for Charlie and bring attention and resources to Charlie's plight.

We are fundraising to help Charlie finance her prolonged legal battle and secure safe housing.
