Bring Baby Joey Home

First off God is an amazing God that we serve! Wow oh wow what a whirlwind the past 3 days have been! As you know Adam and I have been trying to adopt for 2 1/2 years patiently waiting on God to answer. Well on Friday (8-3) morning our consulting firm posted a video about a teeny tiny baby boy born in Tucson, AZ at just 26 weeks gestation. In the video our consultant said that this little boy needed a family especially an adoptive Momma who could be there in Tucson with him until he gets strong enough to go home. Well this is where God started speaking to us. You see 5 years ago I started working from home so that Adam and I could start our family, however after 5 years we still didn't have our baby. And then BAM God said here you go Melissa I have been preparing baby Joey for you because I knew he needed you to be his Momma so you could be there for him and still be able to work. So we flew out Saturday (8-4) to go meet our son Joseph Ruggles Keen! So now here we are with our son and we can not be more overjoyed. We didn't even have time to finish getting all the funds together for his adoption.  His total adoption is $23,250! We have already paid the agency $9,500. We are hoping with your help through prayers and or donations if you feel led to that we can fund the remainder of his adoption.  We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! 

A little more about Joey:
He was born on July 27th at 12:23 am weighing in at a whopping 1lbs. 6oz. and 13 inches long. He is considered a micro premie. He does have few health issues associated with being born premature. As of this moment the doctors are saying he will be in the hospital for about 3-4 months depending on how he grows and responds to things. He is strong and we know that God is a God of healing.
