Nina Needs Your Help

While vacationing on a cruise, Anton's mother Nina fell ill while on the ship. At first it was thought she had a heart attack and was rushed to a hospital in Naples, Italy. There, with the help of friends to translate, she was diagnosed with Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and spent 2 weeks in the hospital.  Anton rushed to her side when Drs. in Italy said it was safe for her to travel. Through travel insurance, a nurse was assigned to escort Nina back to the US with Anton flying the following day unable to find a seat on the same flight. Unfortunately, on their first layover, Anton's mom suffered another setback and was admitted into a hospital in Zurich, Switzerland where she was further diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer (Multiple Myeloma).

At this point, her travel insurance has reached the coverage cap and it has not covered Anton's expenses which escalated with his having to divert to Switzerland. The travel insurance company advised Anton that he needed to pay $8,000 to cover the balance paid for all expenses related to his mom.

All the while, Anton has had to schedule and reschedule flights paying cancelation fees and additional hotel stays making an already stressful situation even more difficult.

Any help you provide will be most appreciated and will help bring Anton's mom to the US to be treated close to home.
