I'm usually much better with words than this is going to be, but please bear with me. On February 18, 2025, my family was brought to our knees. My beautiful granddaughter, Roxann Lin Amparano-Payne, had her life cut short. She was relocating with her mom (Ali) and sisters (Lily, Kylee, and Ellie) from Nevada to Florida. As they were crossing Texas, just outside of Amarillo, tragedy hit. Bug was riding in the truck hauling their 5th wheel trailer. The trailer hit some black ice, causing it to roll, in turn causing the truck to roll. Her seatbelt clip malfunctioned, and our precious baby girl did not survive. We had her cremated so that she could leave Texas with her family, putting her in her favorite tie-dye onesie to make her comfortable on her journey to be reunited with our family in Heaven.

We are now putting together a memorial for Roxy on August 9, 2025, so as a family we can grieve together and remember her amazing soul. We are kindly asking for help to fly her mama and sisters to California from Florida (where the majority of us reside) to be present with us.
