Dear Friends and Family,
We have set up this GoFundMe account to directly support Brien’s cancer treatment and recovery. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 / 4 rectal cancer on May 18th, 2017.
Today, November 17th is Yasmine and Brien’s 11th wedding anniversary. Their biggest wish is that Brien heals and recovers from cancer as fast as possible, once and for all. Their beautiful five-year-old daughter Elisaa Sofia has been very sad and struggling to understand why Brien can’t play with her like he used to do.
Unfortunately, Brien’s health has become quite critical, as he had to take disability from work and needs to go to specialized treatment center called Cancer Treatment Center of America Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Brien will be taken away from his family and home over Thanksgiving, Christmas and perhaps into early 2018.
As those of you who know Brien and Yasmine, they are very proud and won’t ask for financial help. They are always the one’s to step up first to help others in need. As we help Brien and his family on this journey, we are humbly asking that you and anyone you know offer/give at this time whatever money you can to assist them. The medical costs are extensive; already exceeding $100,000.
We have created this account to help support them financially during this urgent time. We know how impactful one’s community can be in coming together to make a massive difference. Brien is fighting the good fight, let’s fight with him!!!
The courage, strength, and love that Brien and Yasmine have for Elisaa, and each other, shines like a beacon of light through this dark tunnel called Cancer.
