Brielle's Fight Against Leukemia

John & Sheylene's whole world has been flipped upside down. Sheylene started noticing that Brielle was bruising very easily and if you know her, you know she's a complete spaz and worries about absolutely everything when it comes to her kids. She made Brielle a doctors appointment last Wednesday thinking she was completely overreacting and that they would laugh at her and send them home. There was just a gut feeling that Sheylene had, that she just wanted her to be checked out. Doctor said it’s normal for toddlers to be bruised especially since they have been on vacation every weekend for the past month. Sheylene took her to Kaiser Riverside 7/25/18 to get some blood work done. After a long wait and a horrible blood draw they told her it could be anything from an infection to Leukemia and sent them to another hospital to be admitted for further testing. Absolutely devastated and so scared they had to wait until the next day for results. They found out Thursday 7/26/18 that Brielle has Pre B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and they have been in the hospital ever since. It’s has been the hardest week of their lives! She has won over everyone’s hearts at the hospital and has been so dang strong!! She started chemo 7/26/18. Doctors and nurses are in the room monitoring her very closely!!! If all goes well they might get to take her home 7/31/18 and start their new life. They say treatment is 2 1/2 years long but should get easier after about 6-8 months. They'll be taking her back and forth for chemo multiple times a week. It’s going to be an extremely long hard road for John, Sheylene, Bailey and little Brielle.
I'm asking for your donation to help John & Sheylene with any expenses. John has been able to take off work this past week and I would love for him to continue to do so as long as possible so he can be there with his girls for every Doctors visit and every chemo session. If you feel it in your heart to help, it is greatly appreciated. Every dollar goes towards making sure this family can stay afloat during this extremely tough experience.
