Bridget Chisaka Memorial Fund: Books for Bridget

If you knew Bridget, you know what a patient, dedicated and beloved teacher she was. Her family and friends are setting up this memorial fund to benefit her students at Hidden Valley Elementary in Savage, MN, a Title 1 Targeted Assistance School. Before she switched to teaching first grade a couple of years ago, Bridget taught as a reading specialist for several years. We’d like to honor her memory by donating books to the Hidden Valley Elementary Library, whose budget has been affected by COVID 19. The books will be purchased and selected through the school media specialist. Bridget's students will be involved in making the memorial labels. Please consider donating to honor her memory and to continue the special work she was so devoted to; encouraging struggling readers and inspiring her students.
