Bridget's Battle with Rosai Dorfman. Back to Mayo!

Donation protected
First, I'd like to say that this by far the most humbling and embarrassing thing I've ever done.

Most people reading this already know that I had a large tumor removed from my spine last October.  Since then, I have been working hard at learning to walk independently. My brain and my legs aren't communicating  100% of the time.

Well, a few weeks ago I started feeling "the" pain again. An MRI yesterday confirmed the tumor is back and has moved into my bones.

I don't have all the answers yet, but I do know more surgery is involved. Probably Monday.

I will be out of work, again. I have no short-term disability.

Things will be challenging. So, here we are. My husband is going to have a lot on his plate & I will be useless.  I don't want him worrying about how things will get paid AND worrying about my care.

I don't know if this is the right course, and maybe some of you find this repulsive or weak. Maybe it is.

I'm just trying to find a way to survive this.

Please share, share, share.
