Bridge the Gap with Arts & Culture

Bridge the Gap with Arts & Culture

Our Leadership Mobile team is bringing together two diverse groups of middle school students to enjoy a customized Duck Boat tour that explores the Arts & Culture inherent to downtown Mobile.

Studies show that exposure to Arts & Culture lead to increased critical thinking and problem-solving skills for children, as well as, results in higher scores on standardized achievement tests.  Also, middle school students with more experiences in art tend to display more civic-minded behavior such as regularly volunteering to improve their City, interest in the voting process, and theirs school's culture.

Your generous donations will provide 80 students, who come from very different backgrounds, the opportunity for engagement and exposure to Arts & Culture that might not otherwise occur.
