While we wait for grant approvals to move through their long and careful processes, our work hasn’t stopped, and neither has the need. 208 Food Mutual Aid is officially registered and fully allowed to fundraise, which means we can continue showing up for our neighbors right now, not someday later. This community was built from care, trust, and people stepping up for one another when systems moved too slowly or fell short. Every family we support, every grocery run, every shared meal exists because people believed that no one should have to face hunger alone. That belief is what keeps us going during this in-between season.

 Every single dollar raised goes directly back into the community we’ve built together. It becomes food on tables, relief in hard moments, and dignity for families navigating tough times. Your support isn’t padding overhead or sitting in an account waiting for permission, it’s moving immediately, neighbor to neighbor, need to care, exactly as mutual aid is meant to. Funds will go to household groceries, community events, and outreach, providing direct support to families and individuals in need. Until grants are approved, we are the bridge.
