<div>We are asking for your support for our neonatology fellows to present their scholarly work that has been already been accepted to the upcoming academic conferences.

<div>Due to NIH cuts in funding for academic institutions, our own institution has severely cut funding for travel, which significantly impacts our fellows.

<div>Fellowship is a time to develop skills in scholarship that include performing research and presenting findings. This work helps launch successful academic careers.
</div>

<div>Our fellows were expecting to have funds to at least partially cover registration and travel to our major pediatric conferences. They submitted abstracts with the expectation that these funds could be used and unfortunately are now unable to use and institutional funds to support travel. Instead, they are being asked to rescind their abstracts and not attend the meetings.

<div>We believe that this is particularly detrimental to their careers, and we would like to support them in attending the conference. We would appreciate any help that could go towards this cause.

<div>The fellows actually had an impressively successful year in submitting abstracts with 3 platform presentations awarded (2 at ESPR and 1 at PAS) and 3 additional poster presentations at PAS.
