Bridge the Digital Divide for Girls in Ghana

Help us fund need-based tech scholarships for girls in Ghana!

Hi! I'm Mae Conuel, a volunteer educator and nonprofit collaborator at IT For Youth Ghana. Our mission is to empower girls through accessible, technology-oriented education, serving as a gateway for women to achieve autonomy in their circumstances and develop their own successful careers. Many bright high school graduates in Ghana face unemployment and lack support to continue their education - that's where we come in:

IT For Youth Ghana is a forward-thinking nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide and fostering economic growth through innovation and education. Our work focuses on underserved and rural communities, ensuring that talented young people—especially girls—aren’t left behind due to financial or geographical constraints.

Just $200 can fund a FULL scholarship for one student to complete a four-month intensive IT training program. Our programs provides hands-on experience in essential digital skills like coding, data analytics, web design, and cybersecurity. After completing the program, we aim to connect each graduate with an internship opportunity with international and local tech companies, helping them launch successful careers in the IT industry.

When you donate, you’re not just funding a scholarship; you’re investing in a brighter future for a young girl, her community, and the global tech industry. With your support, IT For Youth Ghana can remove barriers to high-quality tech education that transforms lives and creates opportunities where they’re needed most. Stay up to date with our organization and read more about student stories here: IT For Youth Ghana LinkedIn Page and watch a short YouTube video about our mission here.

Will you join us in creating a more inclusive digital future? Help us fund IT training scholarships for girls today. Every dollar makes a difference.
