A Bride without a Wedding Charity Run
Donation protected
Saturday 27th June 2020 should have been our wedding/hand fasting celebration, but who knew a world pandemic, named after a beer of all things, would have different plans. A lot of time, effort and love went into organising it and it will still happen, one day. So rather than spend the day feeling sad and melancholy at what could have been, I decided to do something positive, a couch to 5km run, in a wedding dress and veil. It might not be a marathon but, suffering with fibromyalgia and osteoporosis for years, along with a false hip, it will certainly be a challenge for me.
Two charities that are close to my heart.
The Intensive Care Unit at the QMC, who cared for my mum in 1985, and now heroically dealing with some of Nottinghams Covid19 cases.
Studio House, a none profit rehab that not only saved my life over 7 years ago, but Craig's too. It continues to help those struggling with addiction through this crisis, with no government funding.
