Brian Wilson Mission trip Nicaragua

It's been something he's talked about for years ... wanting to go on a missions trip.  It all began after a visit from a missionary and his family to our church.  That desire has grown just as his love of Christ has grown.

Brian Wilson is 17 and has an opportunity to travel to Nicaragua in July of 2015.   The group going (From New Life Church of Princeton, MN) will take part in teaching local children about the Almighty Father in Heaven and his unconditional love for all his children.  This happens through skits, songs, games and personal time together with children in a remote village.  There will also be opportunities to help build and repair the building that is used as a "church".  

The trip is scheduled to last appx 2 weeks.  It WILL be a life changing event, of this we are sure.   It may also be a catalyst to Brian's future plans: he is considering pursuing schooling in construction which could be put to use anywhere in the world.

The amount we are hoping to raise is $1800.  This will cover the cost of the trip, food, incidentals.  Should the fundraising go OVER that amount, he will look to purchase items to take with to give to the local children depending on their current needs.
