Brian's Emergency Vet Bill

As some of you know, last week one of our dogs we take care of (Brian, Brain, Bruno, he goes by many names) went missing. Fortunately, this morning, Dec 7th, we found him sleeping on our porch! Although we still don't know what adventure he was on, and we are so happy he is back and safe, he was very hurt and had many small wounds and lacerations, and we suspected his front leg may have been broken as he was limping very badly.
We brought him to the emergency vet as our regular vet wouldn't be able to take him in for a few days, and they got him all checked out. While, luckily, his leg isn't broken, he does have an infection and is in a significant amount of pain that requires some medications and antibiotics the vet provided us with.
The bill came out to over $600 which had to be fully paid upfront, and as a full-time student during the holidays, this was a significant expense. There will likely be more expenses as we will be taking him back to our regular vet for further bloodwork, but we are just hoping for some help on the emergency bill.
Brian/Brain/Bruno came to our family around 10 months ago, and he is so loved by both our family and our other dogs, Toby and Lucy. We are so grateful for everyone who took the time to share his missing post on Facebook, and for everyone's kind words. Any amount is extremely appreciated and will go fully towards any further vet expenses, and back to his original vet bill.
