Helping Brian! Medical Bills and Rehabilitation
STORY:
About 2 weeks ago, Brian got a life threatening staff infection that turned out to be MRSA.
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium that causes infections in different parts of the body. It's difficult to treat than most strains of staphylococcus aureus -- or staph -- because it's resistant to some commonly used antibiotics
The good news is that the doctors at Carolina Medical Center said they got Brian into ER and started treating him in the nick of time before the MRSA got into his circulatory and blood or skeletal system or bones.
Treatment is continuing and rehabilitation has started!
WE are seeking your support - family, friends, colleagues and students to help rasie money for Brian to pay medical bills, for treatment and rehabiliation, and to cleanse and deep clean his home of this terrible MRSA bug.
We are hoping for $5000 to help Brian and will be grateful for any and all donations. If we can attain this amount and even more, we will work to get Brian restored in health and get him back to teaching music to all his students who he loves.

He deeply misses everyone, especially friends, colleagues, families - parents and children and music students at all his schools, like at InReach, First Ward, Dillworth and all the schools at Charlotte Mecklenburg.
