Study Abroad in Tokyo, Japan

Hello family and friends!
I have some exciting news about my plans for May 2015! I will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan to study abroad!!!! Currently, I am a third-year, Environmental Public Health major at The Ohio State University. "Environmental Public Health?" you may ask. Environmental Public Health consists of all of the physical factors/hazards that may affect the health of a community, including air, water, and soil hazards. Many environmental factors affect underserved and minority populations, and those are the populations in which I am most interested.
My trip to Japan will expose me to the environmental health problems that are most prevalent in Tokyo, studying under world-renowned environmental engineer, Dr. Ibaraki. I will be studying at the University of Tokyo and engaging in meaningful field experiences to local hospitals, toxicology labs, and relevant sites at Hiroshima. While I have earned some funds from OSU scholarships, my trip is still very expensive. If you are able to contribute to my study abroad experience, your gift will be greatly appreciated!
