UPDATE:
Brianna has had surgery to remove the tumor from her leg. However, because the cancer has spread to her lympnodes she has to travel to Melbourne to speak with the onocologist and another surgeon to discuss treatment options. There are a few different routes she can take.
- Surgery on the lymphnodes combined with radiation. This surgery has a 70% chance of the development of Elephantistis.
- A form of immunotherapy which is still "unapproved" for grants. This means that this option can cost her upward of $60,000 for a years worth of treatment.
- Radiation and chemotherapy.
We've still got a long road to travel, but we will keep you all updated! Thank you to everyone who has already helped us along the way. You will never understand the sincere gratitude that we hold for you in our hearts.

The three words no 25 year old mum ever wants to hear.
The perpetrator - Stage 3 Melanoma, an aggressive and fast moving form of cancer.
Brianna is a mother of two beautiful boys, and an extremely active and well respected woman in her community. She was very athletic and is an extremely positive person. However, after two surgeries, the cancer spreading to the lymphnodes and the possibility of radiation and chemotherapy treatment - her world has been turned upside down.
Financially it has been difficult, blood tests, biopsies, tumor removal, oncology, ongoing appointments for at least the next 5 years- the list goes on. Mentally, the strain has been worse.
So this is my plea, for you to dig deep and to help my little sister, my children's Aunty and my nephews mother, to help her to relieve a little of that stress.
