Please, Help Me Restore My Smile

Hi Everyone! My name is Briana and I am in need of your help desperately.

For my 29th birthday this past February, my husband surprised me with a mini getaway to Lake Placid, NY. We were having a beautiful time together—until everything changed in an instant.

In the middle of the night on our second day, I got up to use the bathroom. I suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed. The fall knocked out one of my front teeth completely and fractured five others. What started as a fun birthday trip quickly turned into a nightmare I never could have imagined.

Since then, I’ve been seeing multiple dentists over the last two months and unfortunately, my condition has worsened—I’ve already lost more teeth and I’m at risk of losing even more as time goes on. I’m at a current loss of 4 teeth. The treatment plans I’ve received here in the U.S. are financially overwhelming—some quoted over $20,000, which I simply cannot afford.

As a mom of three and a wife, my family is my world, and this situation has been devastating—not only physically but emotionally and financially. I’ve found a trusted specialist in Colombia who is able to help me for $10,000, and I’m doing everything I can to make this happen. This amount does not include travel expenses, but where there is a will, there is a way as long as I have God in my heart!

My smile has always been a part of who I am! I work at a mammogram center where I get to greet other women like me daily, and my smile helps bring them comfort in often stressful moments.

Losing that part of myself has taken a toll I never expected. I have learned not only does my smile help others, but brings joy to me as well!

This journey has been incredibly difficult, and I’m humbly asking for your help. Any donation—big or small—will bring me one step closer to healing, restoring my smile, and feeling like myself again for the sake of my children, my patients, and my peace of mind.
