[JULY 12- AUGUST 1] In 2019, I was ACCEPTED into a professional dance summer intensive.... at DANCE ITALIA, in LUCCA, ITALY!!! It is an outstanding opportunity for me to do what I love out of the country, in the BEAUTIFUL and ARTISTIC city of Lucca in the Tuscany Region of ITALY. I did a video audition one day, and did not expect to get in. I was sent my acceptance email, and was instantly ready to do whatever it takes to make it there! This will be my first time going out of the country, and a chance for me to expand my contemporary dance knowledge in a new place! I have been to so many great places to dance, such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York, Hubbard Street in Chicago, and of course, my home at New Ballet Ensemble in Memphis.I did not do it alone, and I am reaching out again for that support.
