Brian's Fight Against Cancer

For those who don’t know, Brian is one of 3 owners of Something Brewery. The one that keeps everything in line and holds it all together. Since the beginning of opening the brewery, about 2 months before grand opening, Brian was diagnosed with cancer.
Him, all of his family, and friends were devastated and worried about if he will survive. He kept his head up high and kept thinking positive that he’ll be okay. He pulled though and has been cancer free for three years now.
Until about 4 months ago, he was diagnosed again, this time in two places and in need of two surgeries with physical therapy. Putting him back in the hospital and bills stacking up. Brian just had his last surgery on Thursday and did amazingly well!! The dude is a champ beyond our believes and is so strong. His wife Amber is keeping us updated as things progress, but the great news is that he is going to be okay and pull through.
We at Something Brewery, aren’t just co-workers, we are a family and all best friends. We have been best friends way before we even thought about opening a brewery together. So that’s why when something happens to our best friends, we step in and help each other out.
On October 10th we want to set up a fundraiser for Brian and his family. Basically, after we reach $500 in sales to cover costs, we want to give EVERYTHING we make that night to directly over to Brian and his family to pay for those stupid bills.
We feel if you want to help out, all you have to do is drink a beer and cheers to Brian and help him out at the same time. We need him to get better for his friends and family. We can’t do this without him.
We will also be having Dumpling Deil food truck out front and helping out as well. There will be a silent auction being held as well that day. If you win you can do things like this...
- brew with us
- come up with a name for a beer or your name as a beer name.
- rare beers from other breweries
- a 3 pack of the cereal beer series (if you didn’t get any)
- gift certificates
- merch and many more
