Brian Rushing's Surgery/Chemotherap

For over a year now my father, Brian Rushing, has been going through a battle of cancer in the colon. With the grace of God, that surgery was successfull.

Now a year later, we have received some troubling news that the cancer has merged into the liver--creating Liver Cancer.

The surgery let alone is over 17,000 dollars and he does not have health insurance. The surgery is needed and chemotherapy will be followed for who knows how long. It has added much stress to the situation alone.

My father would be so mad, embarrassed, or upset if he saw this campaign because he is not a man to ask for anything. I too am embarrassed, but feel like this is his only option.

He has been a talented, self-employed musician and with the paint industry his whole life. From gig to gig or house to house, he does whatever it takes to make his income. 

As his daughter, 6 hours away, there isn't much I can do other than make this campaign. 

I can't even imagine how much chemotherapy will be throughout the course. Anything will help considering the position he is in. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to read this. I just want him back on the saxophone and playing the piano with nothing in his way.
