Brian Johnson astronomical medical bills continue.
Donation protected
Brian is married to our youngest daughter Jaime.
Brian was attacked, beaten, and left unconscious in downtown Petoskey, MI, in December of 2023 by 2 men.
He was transported by ambulance from Petoskey to a trauma hospital downstate, due to the extent of his injuries. Brian was diagnosed with over 18 broken bones in his face. His immediate surgery was to chain and wire his shattered upper jaw back together. Both eye sockets were broken in numerous areas. His nose, internally and externally was broken. The list of injuries is extensive.
After Brian was stabilized, he couldn't work for weeks. Jaime missed work while caring for him. But the bills for emergency care, ambulance transport, surgeries, doctors, all keep coming in.
He is now faced with the need for additional corrective surgery. Along with extensive dental needs from being kicked in the mouth. These all require additional costs, not covered by insurance, and time off work, which means no income.
The 2 men have been apprehended and will stand trial but their ability for financial reparation is questionable. To be clear.... Brian did not provoke this. He continues to be in constant, severe, pain making daily responsibilities difficult through no fault of his own.
If any of you can help with these medical expenses, we would be so grateful. Sometimes, we are given challenges and trials that are insurmountable alone. This is one of those times.
Thank you in advance for help and prayers.
