Brian Castillo Family Heart Surgery Fund

Donation protected
Everything was normal until the night of March 28th when Brian's heart started racing and he didn’t know why. He thought it would be calm by the morning. Maybe a symptom of bronchitis or Pneumonia, nothing serious. After 3 weeks of elevated heart rate an EKG test showed an abnormality and he was rushed to the ER.

After 2 hours of IV and medicine to reduce heart rate, the doctors had to cardio vert his heart (the paddles that shock you).

Brian was then diagnosed with a rare heart condition. The doctors found a hole in his heart, an Atrial Flutter, and after further testing a valve deficiency.

He has been through one successful surgery and an angiogram (camera inside the heart), and now needs open heart surgery on July 26th. The bills are already rolling in causing unneeded additional stress.

Brian (Coach) Castillo has been teaching and coaching in elementary schools for 18 years. 5 years in special education, and the remaining years as a gym and PE coach for ages 5-12, so far impacting the lives of over 15,000 students. He is a husband to Barbi, and a father to 10 year old Bella.

This life saving surgery will be at monumental costs to him and his family. We ask for anything that can help them manage financials as they attempt to keep life as normal as possible.
