How did this start?

Katie and I recently sold our house, quit our jobs, and started a new adventure. We've always loved working together, and we just needed an idea that we both felt passionate about. Then, one day we discovered the hit show, Storage Wars. We immediately looked at each other and the light bulb went off. BK Storage Finds was born.

What is BK Storage Finds?

Of course, the BK stands for Brian and Katie. The storage finds are the items we acquire through storage auctions, and currently sell via social outlets such as Craigslist, LetGo, OfferUP, Ebay, Amazon, Poshmark, or to friends and family. We also offer help selling your own items.

How Will the Funds Be Used?

We have started with limited funding and assets. Even so, we have made a 150% profit. With more capital, we will increase our inventory and our resources. We are currently building a website to serve as a one stop shop for all items. We are also purchasing a trailer hitch, and possibly a larger vehicle, to operate more efficiently . All of this is in addition to funding the other operational costs associated with running a business, from advertising to staffing needs.

What Makes Us Different?

We love this job and we're good at it. When we find a unit, we thoroughly inventory it, and make sure personal items like photos, cards, and anything else with sentimental value is returned to the unit's previous owner. We believe in giving back to the community and just not throwing stuff away, so anything we cant sell, we donate. We currently support organizations like homeless shelters, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, Goodwill, and (a place very near to my heart) The Veterans Association of America.
