Our family tragically lost our loved one Bret Thacker last night. Bret meant a lot to all his family and friends. We are all devastated by the loss. Bret was 27 and leaves behind a wife, two young daughters (3 and 5), a dad, his two moms (birth and step-mom that he loved dearly). He leaves a brother, sister, aunts, uncles and grandparents as well as a lot of great friends. The loss of Bret leaves a hole in our hearts that words can't describe. We love and miss him.
Bret had a new job and did not have insurance for his family. This GoFundMe account is set up to help with expenses as well as to raise money for the care of his 3 and 5-year-old daughters.
All donations will be appreciated and all donations will be managed by Bret's dad to help with any needed expenses and to assist with the needs of Bret's children. Thank you in advance for your help.

My name is Tracy Irwin. I was Bret's aunt. I am from Mount Juliet TN. The funds being raised will be used by Bret's dad Alan Thacker to use for the benefit of Bret's two young daughters. Funds may be used for the childrens's immediate needs and/or saved and invested to help with future needs. The use of the funds will be for the children at Bret's dad (Alan Thacker's descretion). I want to thank everyone who has contributed. I will be closing out the account soon. The funds will come to me temporarily and then be provided to Alan Thacker via check, and/or bank account transfer based on his choosing. Thank you all again for your support for Bret's girls and for helping the family during this difficult time.
