On the morning of December 7, 2017 Brent was driving on his way to work and was in a single-vehicle auto accident. After hitting a patch of ice, he lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the accident. Without going into too much detail, he needed to be extricated from the vehicle via jaws of life, and was flown from South Bend, WA to Seattle, WA to receive treatment at Harborview Medical Center. He is undergoing surgery for a fractured femur, and he has other injuries as well, which will prevent him from being very active. Rehab from his injuries could possibly take a couple months, depending on how his injuries heal. Brent is the sole provider for his family - he and his wife have two beautiful children, with a third on the way. With the holidays amongst us, this is already a hard time of year for many. Brent is a hard worker, that put in long hours just to provide for his family, and give them what they both need and want. He is the kind of person who helps out others in the blink of an eye; I would love to see us do the same for him. Donations don't have to be huge - anything you can do will help. Funds will help to pay their medical bills, monthly expenses and possibly help them finish preparing for Christmas.
