36 Year-Old Mother of Twins Dies From COVID-19

The photo also symbolizes a heartbreaking reality: the last Christmas they would spend together. Brent passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020, from COVID-19 (the coronavirus) complications after a nearly two-week battle.
Brent is among the unfortunate growing number of COVID-19 fatalities across the globe. Contrary to public myth, young people are not susceptible to the novel coronavirus. She was 36 years old with no underlying health issues
These are uncertain and unprecedented times. Many of us still don’t understand what’s going on and to what degree COVID-19 will impact us. Brent’s sons are still trying to wrap their nearly teenage brains around what happened to their mother while processing that they will never see her again. They, along with Brent’s family, have not physically seen her since admitted into the hospital. Their last image of Brent was via Facetime. Social distancing guidelines have disrupted traditional grieving and celebration of life process, creating more challenges and uncertainty for her children and family.
As uncertain as these times and circumstances are, one definite certainty is the unconditional love Brent had for her children and family. The lifestyle Brent provided her sons mirrors the family values from her parents. The twins are currently with their grandparents, family-centric, retirees who have been married for 42 years.
We, as family and friends of Brent, want to help alleviate any financial stress COVID-19 caused. Funds raised from this campaign will help with expenses for her boys while her family organizes and handle various posthumous logistics on Brent’s behalf. Any amount donated is much appreciated.
