Brent Baldwin Cancer Treatment Fund

This year has been crazy for everyone and the Covid-19 crisis and has put many of us into tough times.
Unfortunately in March of this year, on top of Covid-19 and the Utah earthquake, we also found out my father, Brent Baldwin (aka Pops) was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in his esophagus. (Adenocarinoma-
Esophageal Cancer) caused by Acid reflux
Six weeks of Chemo and radiation treatment was started immediately and we feel blessed that the tumor shrunk enough to allow surgery which has been scheduled for July 2nd.
However, due to the location of the tumor it will be very extensive as they have to remove most of his esophagus & the top of his stomach. He has a long road to recovery. The best case scenario would be 2 weeks in the hospital and 6 months until he has recovered enough to work.
Medical bills are piling up as my father has been out of work since March 15th and will be unable to return to work for at least 6 months. He is the sole income provider as my mother is on permanent disability and unable to work.
He does have insurance but will only cover 70% of Hospital, tests & medications
On top of all of this they are also caring and providing for a son and 6 yr old granddaughter currently living with them and my 80 yr old grandmother dealing with Parkinson's disease.
We know this is a very tough time on everyone but if you have a little extra that you can donate at this time our family would be eternally grateful.
God bless you and your families during this crazy and uncertain time!
