Brenda & Randall's Rebuild Fund

My name is Amanda Sylvester, and I want to thank you for taking the time to view my go fund me page that I’ve created in order to help my mom and my stepdad after the devastation of hurricane Harvey.

Hurricane Harvey recently struck the Texas and Louisiana boarders and has caused catastrophic damage to so many homes in the south. My mom, Brenda Soileau, and her husband, Randall Ansley, have lost their home and are devastated by this disaster. Their home was not located in an area that was prone to flooding, therefore, flood insurance was not a necessity. I would like to help them raise money to replenish clothing, food, furniture, necessities, and other household items that were lost in the flood. Their home is currently submerged in water and we have no way of knowing if anything is salvageable until the water dissipates.

As some of you may know, family is a pretty big deal in the south and we always help when we can. It’s heartbreaking to know that you can’t go home. It’s a helpless feeling knowing that all of your personal belongings, along with irreplaceable items are no longer available to you. My mom has always been there to help me pick up the pieces, she is hands down, the most amazing person that I know. Randall is an emergency dispatcher who went in to work to help the people affected by this disaster. He is currently working tirelessly to help save as many people as he can regardless of his loss. It’s such an amazing feeling knowing that even in their time of need, they are still putting others first.

Please, help me to give my mom and stepdad a little piece of mind in their troubling time. I know they would appreciate it and I would be extremely grateful.
