Brenda Munoz College Fund

Brenda and I met eight years ago in the Sequoia High School Digital Arts mentor program.  Brenda is a smart, kind, generous, motivated young woman but whose parents don't have the means to pay for college.  For the past five years since graduating high school, Brenda has worked 2 jobs (book-keeping at a restaurant and interning at a design firm), volunteered at her church and completed her coursework at Canada College.  I'm so proud that Brenda will start SF State this Fall.  She is diligently putting away every dollar she can to fund the $20K needed for tuition, books, and supplies to get her college degree.  I'm hoping together we can give Brenda the gift of her first-year tuition which I'll share as her Canada graduation present on May 25th.  I will match the first $1000.
