Brenda Havlik Accident Fund
Update:So we are revising the amount needed to raise to $15,000. Aunt Brenda's insurance deductible is $7,500. So we want to meet that and raise a little bit extra for the family, to help with any ongoing needs. Any money raised and not used will be donated by the havlik family to a local person or family in need. Brenda is fighting and continues to fight everyday. On Sunday, June 11th, 2017, Aunt Brenda and Uncle Gary Havlik were driving back to scappoose from rainier when a female, driving the opposite way on HWY 30 veered into the oncoming lane and hit them head on. Aunt Brenda is in bad shape, she has multiple broken bones, compound back fractures, broken ribs and shoulder, hole in her lung, internal bleeding, and a broken ankle. So far she has had surgery to fix her severely broken ankle, and will have a surgery to fix her shoulder next. Uncle Gary was discharged and thankfully is only sore. Unfortunately the lady who caused the wreck has no insurance, so the family is stuck paying out of pocket, what insurance won't cover, for this accident. This is a go fund me to try and help relieve the financial burden this family is going to face. The havliks have worked hard their entire lives and been a big part of the community, if anyone could help them, with even a small donation, they would be forever greatful.
